CBSE Class 10 Second Board Result 2026: The anticipation of the students is increasing with each passing day. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is yet to release the results for the second board examination, an initiative started by the Board, aligning it with the NEP 2020 to make education accessible and equitable for all. The board introduced the second exam as optional for students who want to appear for the main exam as a ‘second chance’.

The exams were held from May 15, 2026 to May 21, 2026 in offline mode across the country for the students who registered. The main board examinations were held from February 17 to March 11, 2026, with the results releasing on April 15, 2026.

Endless Wait for the Second Board Result

With over a month passing by after the conclusion of the second board examination, the students are eagerly awaiting their results to receive the revised scores. The second exam follows the philosophy of ‘Best of Two’ where candidates will be awarded the final scores of the examination where they achieved the highest marks, be it the main exam or the optional one.

There has been no official statement released by the Board on the delay of the result declaration. As per media reports, the delay is expected to be caused due to the infrastructural and administrative introduction of the two-exam policy in an existing, established exam-conducting framework.

Where to Check CBSE Class 10 Result?

The board will release the results of the class 10 second board exam on the official website and portals of the board. These include cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in. Additionally, the candidates can also check their provisional online scorecards on the partner portals like DigiLocker at results.digilocker.gov.in and the UMANG platform at web.umang.gov.in/landing/department/cbse.html. Students will require their roll number, school number, admit card ID, and mother's name as credentials to check their marksheet.

The board does not announce a result date for the CBSE results so candidates are advised to keep checking the official websites of the board and the alternate result portals for the same.
